C’est sous forte escorte policière que Navin Ramgoolam s’est rendu aux Casernes centrales, hier. Les limiers du CCID ont procédé à l’arrestation de l’ex-Premier ministre dans le cadre de l’enquête sur le cambriolage de son campement à Roches-Noires. Il est soupçonné d’avoir ourdi un complot dans le but de pervertir le cours de la justice. Le leader du PTr devra se présenter ce matin devant la Bail and Remand Court pour s’acquitter d’une caution.

C’est tard dans l’après-midi, de ce samedi 7 février, que l’ex-Premier ministre Navin Ramgoolam a été fixé sur son sort. Rs 200 000 de caution et une reconnaissance de dette de Rs 1 million pour chacune des charges qui pèsent sur lui. A sa sortie de la cour, il a affirmé à la presse qu’il «remercie la justice et qu'il a toujours eu confiance en elle».

Ramgoolam avait été arrêté, hier, à son bureau de la rue Desforges. Par ailleurs, la police a mis la main sur une forte somme d’argent ainsi que deux coffres-forts scellés à son domicile de Riverwalk.

The involvement of any or another party in the workings politic , Socio, democratic and high business of Mauritius - is not something which can be taken lightly - the mechanism, the discipline and the linkage need to be studied.  Ye the many young generation who just refuse.

Long before we have been involved in very many complex Mauritius economic, society, democratic and high business or International politic and events of recent.

It is Monday 9/2/2015 - Prayers are very strange how they work

Our lady Friend is of Mauritius origin, as such child and the Respective Families in Mauritius - not one but two, grand children. Prior to that SIROP program from an Interdisciplinary prospective high management took part and in instance synergized the economic, politic and high corporate environment that a or set of given Projects, business white/Franco Families or Private business. Beside Dr Ramgoolam under then Blair government had my person almost arrested and sent to USA for Trial under the Terrorist Legislation - after we had intervened and helped in very many instances/also to have us put away/shut up for good. .

We have read the part of the Law extracts of money offence and laundering in Mauritius - Good police authorities of Mauritius where is our money and when are we going to get paid - as police those within the police who study and supposed to monitor such issues - within the greater science of Interdisciplinary management - exist regulatory discipline, mechanism and when they are;get applied what can take place and outcome. Yet the the Mauritius Police authorities,m Judiciary and media do/pretend as if nothing ever happened.

When the media and those around the person of PM Jugnauth act the way he and they are doing - they are much more guilty. If and when the issues do come out he will be found more guilty because the whole mess/scandal a,d Terrible practice was started under his time/office.

Then we have the family in Mauritius asking us where is their share of the money /wealth.Only this morning we got load of insults and foul mouth from those families in Mauritius - had we just one iota of that money they would not talk to us in that tone and swear at my person constantly and insults - the daily same practice.

L’opération de comptage des billets de banque retrouvés dans deux valises et l’un des coffres-forts saisis au domicile de Navin Ramgoolam à River Walk commencent à livrer leur secrets. A ce stade après plus de cinq heures d’opération plus de Rs 15 millions de roupies ont été comptabilisés par la CCID et les officiers de la Banque de Maurice.

Les autorités entendent pour l’heure stopper leur opération et la reprendre demain matin après une nuit de repos salvatrice au vu des évènements de ces dernières 48 heures.

Pour rappel, ce matin à neuf heures Navin Ramgoolam et ses avocats se sont rendus aux Casernes centrales pour fournir aux enquêteurs les informations clés pour l’ouverture des valises et des coffres-forts comme convenu hier devant la cour.

HSBC leak: India to probe new 'black money' list

India will investigate a new list containing names of Indians suspected to have parked untaxed wealth in a foreign bank, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said.

Secret documents leaked from HSBC's private bank in Switzerland have revealed that it helped thousands of customers to evade taxes.

The names of nearly 1,200 people from India feature in these papers.

It is estimated that these Indians held $4bn (£2.63bn) in their accounts.

India says illegal funds are often sent to tax havens, including Mauritius, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the British Virgin Islands, and the new government has said "unearthing black money is an important issue" for them. Experts estimate that Indians hold $500bn (£297bn) in overseas tax havens.

L’attente est à son comble aux Casernes centrales, où la police devrait donner d’une minute à l’autre de nouveaux chiffres concernant la somme trouvée dans les coffres saisis chez Navin Ramgoolam. Ce dernier a quitté les lieux vers 18h, ce lundi 9 février, lorsque l’exercice de comptage a été bouclé pour aujourd’hui. Il devrait reprendre demain à 9h30.

Sa femme Veena est toutefois toujours cuisinée par les enquêteurs de la CCID. Cela fait maintenant 5 heures qu’elle répond à leurs questions. Pour rappel, l’ancien Premier ministre avait indiqué dans un premier que les codes pour ouvrir les coffres étaient avec elle.

En ce qui concerne les charges retenues contre Navin Ramgoolam, il a été assigné à comparaître le 12 mai à Curepipe et le 7 juillet à Pamplemousses.

La scène restera sans doute dans les annales du pays. Le Dr Navin Ramgoolam, Grand Commander of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, ancien Premier ministre de la République de Maurice dont la décennie de règne vient de s’achever, sort de la demeure de son père, le Père de la Nation, à la rue Desforges, un certain vendredi soir. Entouré d’une escorte de policiers.

Souriant timidement, en ce 6 février, il est accueilli par une foule hostile qui lui balance des injures et des projectiles à la figure. «Voleur !», hurle-t-on. Les membres de la Special Mobile Force et de la Special Supporting Unit présents ont du mal à contenir la foule. Bousculé, celui dont l’autorité était incontestée il y a encore peu est enfourné à la va-vite dans un véhicule de police. La foule ne se calme pas pour autant, et s’en prend désormais à la voiture, frappant les vitres et vociférant sa colère.

Comment - we really ask what is in the mind of some of those individuals who made their respective comments- the politics of Mauritius, the Indian ocean the past 25 years have evolved, the need for those citizens of those Indian ocean to take a wider, different approach to looking at their politic and events - yet they still want o go on making politic as it has been.

Out there there are dynamics and mechanism which can be applied and do all kinds of wired and strange things to the Mauritius economy, Institutions, Judiciary and Police and they have been applied the past 25 years and their impacts and side effect and collateral and yet you get the many when such an events take place they cannot think out of the box/they refuse to look at other aspects.

This is wen many dislike our approach - that incident could have been avoided, had my person traveled back to Paris and Strasbourg we will say this bluntly to the Mauritius police and judiciary - even under oath.

The high executives of the political parties by now know what we are talking about - yet the media garbage those at L'express and Le Mauritian.com keep writing.
